Objectives

Smart city innovations are new approaches to holistic management of cities’ physical, socio-economic, environmental, transportation and political assets across all urban domains, typically supported by ICT and open data. The role of technology and the governance of the same is increasingly becoming a challenge that needs to be addressed. This can be facilitated through the use of smarter technology. Further to achieve this objective, this requires a shared vision of all stake holders like citizens, public and private organizations and many others. This special session will include Industry experts, academicians and researchers working on different dimensions of smart cities, smart technologies, strategies for regional development, and policies for valuable deliberation.

Submission : All contributions should be original and not published elsewhere or intended to be published during the review period. Authors are invited to submit their papers electronically in pdf format, through EasyChair. All the special sessions are centralized as tracks in the same conference management system as the regular papers. Therefore, to submit papers please use following link.

Publication :

Authors are invited to submit original previously unpublished research papers written in English, of up to 6 pages, strictly following the IEEE format. Submissions not following the IEEE format guidelines will be rejected without review. To ensure high quality, all papers will be thoroughly reviewed by the Technical Program Committee for ICACCA2017. All accepted papers must be presented by one of the authors who must register for the conference and pay the fee. All accepted and presented paper will be submitted for the possible inclusion in the IEEE Xplore digital library.
